Really disgusting that when clearing up the table, they put cigarettes butts on the dishes and left the empty ash tray... just saw it and decided not to come and eat at this place never again.
We went here for Peking Duck, so this review is based mainly on the quality of the duck. It was rubbery. Not great. The skin was not crispy. And the pancakes came on a plate with plastic wrap, just giving the appearance that the whole duck prep was done well in advance. The xiao long bao and spicy dumplings were decent. Not amazing, but I did enjoy eating them. The decor is fun - phallic imagery everywhere. The service is good as well.
The food here is pretty good but the decoration is a little bit weird.
Great value on the food. The soups and dumplings we had were great and served quickly. We went for a late breakfast, but this joint looks like it could get going in the evening, especially given it's unique decor and featured bell.
Great spot and chill at lunchtime! $3000 yen for a whole duck with pancakes and sides, soup and another meat/ bean sprout dish. Super tasty and fresh, loads of food and nice service! Would def come back again! It’s on the second floor and good for parties big and small.
Great cost/performance in roppongi. The place to go when want to enjoy dinner at low coast in roppongi. The restaurant specializes in Chinese cuisine
Great food, great price, great service! I’ve heard so much about this place we couldn’t resist checking it out.Turns out to be an excellent decision. Though it was just my wife and I, we still decided to order their famous Peking duck.It took awhile to be served as the duck is made to order. Chef actually brings out the whole duck and slices it next to you, which was quite the entertainment. The sliced duck, along with the condiments and wrap was exquisite. They were slightly spicy, sweet and sour. But they weren’t done. The bones and it’s remaining meat were made into a vegetable dish and soup! All for the same price you had paid for the duck. The restaurant was also very unique. It had so many funny sculptures that will definitely make anyone giggle. Service was also excellent. In all, I’ll definitely be back if I’m ever in the Roppongi area.
Cheap and cheerful Chinese, the portions are huge so go in a group. The decor is uh, interesting.
Fast and affordable with a very large menu to choose from
Thank you for perfect Chinese food for so many years!
We came here to have Peking duck. The price is around 3k yen for the full animal plus pancakes and side dishes. The pancakes are probably made in advance (really not that big of a deal), whereas the duck is made to order, and it takes them more than 30 minutes to roast it. The quality was very good, with crispy skin and all. The remains of the duck were used for the stir fry and the soup that are part of the course. The decor is NSFW, but not worse that the things you see at a Japanese fertility festival, and overall quite funny. Service is good as well.
We came a mid week lunch time. Place was still quite busy. Staff are all young and don’t really seem to care much or go out of there way. But the food came out pretty quick and tasted delicious the fried rice was too die for 😋 everything was super hot. The decor is a bit old and dirty so not somewhere for a fancy meal.
Not bad at all, not amazing. Decent service. The heating was a bit high, it was getting uncomfortable.
One of my favorite places in Tokyo. The Peking Duck is amazing! Even better than Duck I've had in Peking. Prices are also very reasonable considering.Decor could be offensive to some or hilarious to others.
When I’m in Roppongi I try to come here, this place is really special...
Not bad, not great. Weird atmosphere and average service of average food.
Great deal; food is pretty good and definitely a good value, especially the lunch specials. Interesting decor.
While not all dishes are out of the ordinary, the big portions and cheap prices makes for great value for money. You won't leave feeling hungry.
Good food cheap price, but unfortunately smoking is allows.
Decent quality genuine Chinese cuisine. Massive 10+ page menu, very reasonably priced. Starters and small tapas portion plates start from 380 jpy~. Never expect to pay more than 3500 jpy per heas for a good meal with a couple of beers. This place actually has veggie options. I come here for the morning glory, eggplant, lotus roots, centenary eggs and Sichuan spicy fried chicken... But not the dumplings.
Horrible service! We were given 1 menu for a party of 12 and when we asked for more, the waitress literally threw some at us. Avoid!
Dinner selection is pretty good!
Good chinese restaurant opens 24h near roppongi hills. Quick service and nice selection of chinese. Disclaimer: You shouldn’t expect “excellent†service here.My favorite is “Belt noodleâ€. it is quite bold noodle with chinese taste.Peking duck is recommended for over 6 person. And there’s many strange ornaments from wall to wall. it’s kinda fun.
Good deal for the whole of Peking Duck at such location. Nice Grand Hyatt view from the restaurant balcony :)
Suuuuper quick food. Fun atmosphere
This is a unique restaurant to say the least with particular reference to the restaurant decorations. It’s a chinese restaurant and both times we went purely for the roast duck. I must say the first time was better than the second. The second time they took ages to serve all the food and sadly we left before everything came out.
Tasty duck and 'interesting' decor 🤣
Nice team gathering place. One time visit
Very interesting decoration and the food is very tasty. I would probably rate is closer to 3.8 just because service was a bit awkward. Food was a 4 though and I had a good time so I highly recommend this if your're in Roppongi and you're not sure where to eat.
The food is always fresh and tasty and well this is some decoration!
We went there for Peking duck after watching a YouTuber’s recommendation. I bet it was a paid advertisement. The duck was very disappointing comparing to what we had in Beijing, especially å¤§è‘£çƒ¤é¸ DaDong duck. The duck here was dry and taste mushy. The dish come with the duck was sooooo salty. The highlight of the night was the duck soup except everything in it was tough even the rice noodle in the soup. What was I thinking ordering Peking duck in Tokyo? My bad. Anybody wants some really good Chinese food, seriously, take a three hour flight to Shanghai.
It’s hard to describe a 24hr Chinese restaurant in Roppongi that specializes in fertility decorations and whole roast duck, but it’s a can’t miss experience. Whole duck is carved table side and comes in 3 courses for less than 30 US. Not the most English forward, but easy enough to order duck and beer.
Delicious food at very reasonable prices - probably the best way to sample Peking Duck without breaking the bank!
Cheap and decent Chinese food @ Roppongi. Interesting interiors.Drinks menu could have been better.
Pay for what you get. Nice 600 yen lunch set!
Taste is good for the price, and staff is friendly and helpful. There is a ton of dishes available, and they can cook a whole lamb for you
Traditional Chinese restaurant. Very nice employees and clean environment
Beijing duck was pretty good. Other food was not bad... service was normal.
This restaurant sucks! We came into the restaurant and after we were seated nobody came by or even looked at us for a good 15 minutes. There were at least four servers but they were busy either putting things away or seating customers. We left after being ignored for fifteen minutes. Also the place felt dirty and smelled. Would not recommend anyone to come here.
This place has the best duck I've ever had. Very friendly and the decor is wonderful. Not for children but it's a good tourist spot.
Affordable and good quality. Service level is in average. Have to insist to get a better seat.
Food was delicious. The peaking duck is sold until it runs out. Try to go before 2100.
Great food, err, unique interior. It can get smoke in there since many patrons chain smoke, so for that reason (and the interior) not recommended for kids.
Although the Peking duck skin wasn't as crisp as I would like, the duck had really good flavour. The second course of duck stir fried with sprouts was spicy and delicious and the third course of soup was lovely. The freshly made dumplings were delicious too! And all for amazing value!
Very good Peking duck
The food is very good and the price is super cheap! The service ia very very bad tho. We were in a table of 10 people and they just keek throwing all the plates and drinks ar one side of the table and request us to give take the food and drinks by ourself.
Food is good and very cheap but the wait staff aren't very attentive or polite.
Great price and great food. Peking Duck just delicious.
a regular chinese resturant with an erotic theme. they serve relatively cheap lunch and dinner
Very good food and good prices. The most interesting thing is the hangings over the central, community table. Have a close look at the photos and you'll see the point. I'll go back often for the food and get a chuckle from the many diners who sit under this 'art' and totally miss what's above their heads. Go and enjoy! 2nd floor. Drink bar for tea, coffee, water.
The duck was nice and crispy, great flavor. The soup that comes with was a great compliment. Definitely not a dish for one.
